This is a test post from flickr, a fancy photo sharing thing.
Two beautiful cats.....each displaying some of my favorite colour combinations. Warm and rich tones. The rabbit cushion they are snuggled on just adds to the want to lay down and snuggle in!
Two rooms that are fit for these two..

Spring...but not as we know it.

The dog seemed rather bemused that anything would choose to be outdoors on an afternoon like this.
His owner had other thoughts. He thought this afternoon would be a great one for a surf. Without a wetsuit of any type! I was wrapped up in a big puffy jacket, zipped up to my nose. It could not have been any more then 10degrees C. on land. Made of tuff stuff Kiwi men are!

More delights from Tricia's camp.

John Rensten also deserves a wee showcase. Great ideas, very funny. The ballet shoes make me want to grab a tu-tu and stand on point! Not that I ever was interested in the past time of ballet. Perhaps I needed a photograph like this one to inspire me?

Alec Hemer

Stumbled across Tricia Joyce's web site today and have fallen in lust with Alec Hemers work.

I love his composition and interesting angles that he takes the shots from are far from boring.

I want to move in to these rooms! For more of Alec' work and many others visit http://www.triciajoyce.com/

Yum. More to follow...

Wow- What a lady! Keri Smith. Both her blog and web site are a delight to navigate. The kind that will not let you leave until you are sure you have seen every corner of it at least once. Then, despite it being well past the time for making it to school without breaking the speed limit, you find yourself 'just quickly' clicking open the links page.

Listed on Keri's blog are her books that are available. I am not going to spoil the delight that you will have discovering them by describing their contents, but I will say I jumped straight over to Fishpond.co.nz and ordered a copy of " Living out Loud ". I am loving having this like book. Thank you Keri, you are an inspiration!

...more spring delights.

Animal Sculpture.

Whilst in Scotland a few years ago I developed an obsession with this stone dog. I was staying at one of the most amazing hotels that I have ever had the opportunity to stay in with fab. views, service and facilities but the only thing I could see was the stone dog. There was no possible way of taking this as my souvenir, bath products would have to suffice, but a hunt was on. Finding good life like sculptures of animals is not as easy as one might think. I have viewed some dodgy creations, all of course within my price range but none as beautiful as this one.

Loch Lommond. Scotland

That was until I took my search to the internet. This coincided with finally having access to broadband. Oh how this has changed my life!
Now I can pour over as many images of top class sculpture that my wee brain can cope with...here are some of my favorites.
